The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) announced its talented and diverse group of 2015 NOMA Magazine Volunteer Staff, a group I am honored to be a part of. Our editor in chief is Devanne Pena I'm excited to work with her as she brings new energy and direction to the bi-annual publication.
Including in the group of talented volunteer staff members is my good friend, Michele Crawford, a fellow designer and hip hop enthusiast who is teaching a course on Hip Hop Inspired Architecture in Cleveland Public Schools. And I must say congratulations to Jimmy Tucker, who I first met at a NOMA Conference in Indianapolis. He is the founding principal of Self + Tucker Architects and celebrating his firms 20th anniversary this year.
I'm looking forward to working with all the staff members to continue shining a light on the challenges and achievements of underrepresented architectural practitioners and students around the world. More news coming soon. In the mean time, in between time, check out the list and photos of the volunteer staff below.
